Inspection and Building Compliance Testing and Servicing

Testing and service of fire protection equipment is a core competency of Fire Security Services.

Our specialist testing teams test and maintain equipment to ensure its safety and it complies with the appropriate standards.

Building compliance management includes: SS 1 to SS 15, collation and issue of 12A’s, IQP/LBP and BWOF including owner obligations. Tests are carried out weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, two and four yearly.

When tests and surveys are completed, if any remedial work is required, Fire Security Services will explain the costs for the work and proceed only on approval.

Testing Data Gathering

Fire Security Services has developed a Windows PC-based application, enabling mobile devices (Pocket PCs) to electronically capture and download ‘real time’ data of test information, by personnel in the field. This has replaced current paper based methods and provides a genuine point of difference with our competitors in the market.

Hard copy or electronic data can be provided as required.

Maintenance

Fire Security Services has a proven 24 hour, seven days a week fully operational and established nationwide 0800 Services Call Centre operation, to guarantee prompt and efficient services.

Training

Our certified staff will train the appropriate personnel in the building on trial evacuation and in the proper use of equipment, such as fire hose reels and fire extinguishers.
